2. Does The College Informant guarantee i will graduate early and with multiple degrees?
Graduating early and with multiple degrees and certifications is up to you and your motivation to achieve this goal. Your strategic plan will position you to do so, however, you are at your own discretion when using it.
3. What is I am not a great student?
Our goal is to provide you with the best plan to build your academic self-confidence so you realize that you are capable of undertaking college level material. Every student is different and will need to approach hish or her college planning process differently. We are skilled at helping students put a strategic plan into place that can help them achieve their academic goals.
4. When is the best time to start working with The College Informant?
The best time to start planning for college is when a student is in middle school. If your student is at this point or beyond, contact me today so that we can begin to put a strategic college plan in place.
5. Is The College Informant a subsidiary of a particular college, university, or agency?
No. As a result, our priority is the interests of the student and their family.
6. Where and how does The College Informant provide its services?
The service is done primarily via the Internet. Correspondence is also made through phone, mail, and fax.
7. What happends if I have an important question about my strategic plan?
You can reach us by email or phone.
8. In high school and college my student has a counselor. Why do we need the services of The College Informant?
Data from the U.S. Department of Education reports that national student-to-counselor ratio is 488 to 1. The NACAC's 2006 State of College Admission Report states that public school counselor spend 25% of their time on college counseling while private counselors spend 58% of their time. The issue becomes whether school counselors provide the individual attention each student needs. Our services compliment the role of your student's high school or college counselor. We expand beyond the foundation they have set. We want to save your student time and thousands of dollars by providing them with a strategic plan to graduate from college.
9. Do I need to tell colleges or my counselor that I am working with The College Informant?
No. We are working on your behalf. You are not obligated to inform anyone that you are working with us.
10. What forms of payment are accepted.
Payment is made online through PayPal. All major credit cards are accepted. Contact me for other payment methods.
11. Do you have a refund policy?
If for any reason after your payment has been processed and prior to receipt of services you wish to cancel, you will receive a full refund. A refund request must be made within 5 days of payment. There is not refund once receipt of services begin.
